Seville to Marbella

1. Real Alcazar Seville

If you’re looking for stunning architecture, vibrant flamenco culture, and history, than Seville is the perfect place to land. It’s the capital of Andalusia and boasts three World Heritage UNESCO sites to explore – the Cathedral (burial site of Christopher Columbus), the Real Alcazar, and the General Archive of the Indies. I highly recommend booking a tour of the Real Alcazar. The gardens were stunning and the architecture was unmatched.

2. Seville Plaza de España, Flamenca

The city is bursting with history and culture that you’ll be immersed in the passion as soon as you step into the streets. You must also walk around the Plaza de España. A massive architectural marvel built in 1928 that blends the Renaissance, Baroque, and Moorish revival styles to celebrate Spain’s history. And definitely book an authentic flamenco show – the heart and passion of the dance will beat within you for years to come.

2. Seville at Night

Take an evening stroll through the streets of Seville. The city comes alive in the evening, and with dinner seating starting at 7:30 p.m., there really is no excuse to not wander the streets during twilight and take in all the lights.

3. Marbella and beach walks

The coast of Spain is gorgeous, but it’s also the “all inclusive beach hotel” area of Europe. Thankfully we were visiting in March, so the area wasn’t as busy, but I can imagine that it would be packed during peak season. I also didn’t love walking around at night in this area, so keep that in mind if you travel here! With all that being said, the old city in Marbella was beautiful and definitely worth a saunter around. There’s also a paved boardwalk along the beach that you can walk on for miles. I recommend an early morning sunrise stroll along the beach!
